Christensen Shipyards completed the sale of the 160ft Tri-Deck, Hull 033, during last year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show—the 10th vessel in the company’s history to be sold to a repeat buyer. Following its success with the Custom 157ft Series, Christensen moves into the next series of yachts utilizing the extra length to offer more deck spaces while maintaining the same comfort throughout the interior.
Hull 033 will be powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 series engines, and have a maximum speed of 18 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. The spacious hull houses an elegant main deck owner stateroom and five guest accommodations, as well as crew’s quarters for up to ten, together with an elevator that services all levels. Designed and styled by Carol Williamson & Associates, the yacht will feature an elegant interior of raised panel Sapele mahogany joinery and custom stonework throughout.
The vessel, fully classified and certified to ABSXA1-AMS and MCA Unlimited Cruising, is currently under construction and will be delivered in October, 2008.
